Back in 2005 I traveled a lot more and did my photography when I could. I was still mostly 35mm and one of my steps before getting driving out to shoot was to buy a pack of film.
Usually it was a bulk pack of eight rolls of 200 ISO or 400 ISO film. Pretty good film for shooting inside with my flash.
Well this particular shoot (with Cat) I picked up some 800 ISO film. Certainly not what I normally used. 800 ISO film is mostly used for fast outside action.
The net result was ALL the photographs from the shoot ended up being grainy.
I was pretty disappointed but over the years I have revisited the images and with a little coaxing from photoshop I have been able to resurrect some of the images.
It’s ok to make mistakes, just as long as you learn from them.
