Back filling the blog has been a fun and yet frustrating experience.  There are a number of pictures I took that I don’t have any idea when I took them.

Then there are also the shoots with models that I don’t recall the name.  In theory I have model release forms from everyone I shot with… I just can’t remember where I put them to keep them safe ;0)

If you haven’t guessed by now I’m back dating quite a few posts.

I’m filling in some of the history of my adventures.

It’s so funny I keep finding photographs that remind me of other stuff I did.

For example I totally forgot that I took photos on my trip to San Francisco. Now I’ve backdated an entry in April 2007 that covers my trip.

I could take credit for it, you could say it’s all part of my plan to get clicks in my archive ;0)

Yeah but I’m not really that subtle.

I like Photoshop not because it make me look like a better photographer, rather it helps me be a better artist.

Some times when I’m going through the previews of the photos I’ve taken I think

“Oh you know what that reminds me of…?”

Photoshop helps me nudge and drag my image closer to my idea.

I took a picture of Cher back in September and it had a green chiffon cape and it made me think about the photos of the 50’s and 60’s. Then it came to me  with a little help this could be a picture in the style of Irving Klaw

Irving Klaw is best known for operating a mail-order business selling photographs and film of attractive women from the 1940s to the 1960s. He was one of the main reasons Betty Paige became famous.
