I shot with Mischief V  for 175 minutes and took 115 images and ended up with 112 usable images over 13 sets..

Anyway my first cut brings me from 112 down to 56

My next step is to choose my top 10 in order. This will give my over all favorite and my top 5 for the gallery above.

The whole premise behind the shoot was using the body as a canvas and I felt this composition embodied the concept. When I started thinking about the image  I saw the two thighs and the two fingers and I though well what does that remind me of…

Then I though hold on the thighs are pages in a book.

I brought the image into channel mixer made it monochrome and boosted up some of the blues. Now the thighs look more like pages and you can make out writing in the owl design.

I see so much symbolism in the image, it’s  just exactly what I wanted from a creative shoot. I really needed this shoot to blow away the winter cobwebs in my mind.

I look forward to working with Mischief V again.
